Client Briefing

During initial discussions between the client and the sevenhr consultant and research team, the job and company brief is fully detailed. We seek to speak to all of the key decision makers within the client organisation to fully understand their business, the short, medium, long-term objectives and the culture.

Market Research

We conduct thorough research and analysis of the target market. Based on trends and developments within the sector, we then create the appropriate strategy to attract suitable employees for the client organisation. This information is then fed back to the client for final approval.

Attraction Campaign

Once a route is agreed, we outline all the project milestones and timescales with the client. The kinds of activities undertaken can include industry journal adverts, online adverts, postings on jobsites, headhunting, networking and mapping out business structures. The project is then undertaken with updates available to the client whenever they are keen to understand where the consultant is up to with the campaign.

Interviewing

Through an in-depth, extensive interview process, focusing particularly on their suitability from the specific role, the consultant identifies the suitable applicants. Candidates are then briefed on the client and the role, both verbally and through receipt of a candidate briefing pack that outlines the company, position, location and salary details. A shortlist of candidates is then presented to the client with CV’s including a full profile of the candidate’s strengths, weaknesses and salary expectations.

Offer

We assist in the final offer negotiations, presenting the successful candidate with the offer from the client. From the way we work both parties are very clear of salary and package expectations from the outset and so negotiation is a rarity.

Post Placement Review and Evaluation

Our Client Relations team will begin a weekly check with both client and candidate once employment commences. The purpose is to ensure that the candidate's induction is smooth and problem-free. This takes place for the initial eight weeks of employment and continues every six months thereafter. We also ask for a short questionnaire to be completed by both parties to enable us to gather information on how to fine tune our operating procedures, thus ensuring the highest standard of service in all future projects and complete satisfaction.

Referencing

We begin with a detailed investigation into the candidate’s references. This is carried out during client interviewing and is with respect to both employee and the trade. In addition, checks are made into the qualifications and memberships of professional bodies to assure all parties of CV accuracy, and aide and accelerate the offer stage

This thorough approach to projects ensures an effective and documented process offering a transparent and honest recruitment campaign. Each stage offers flexibility and amounts to a process that clearly achieves the best results for all parties.
