sevenhr Welcomes New Addition to the Team

Sarah Hemingway – Recruitment Consultant for Retail

In addition to completing an office move this May to better manage the company’s long-term growth, sevenhr are pleased to welcome a number of new starters to the business.

Sarah Hemingway joined the team in mid may and her appointment brings with it a high degree of commercial awareness and retail nous. With 11 years of experience behind her including 6 years in recruitment for a variety of retail organisations including Lewis’s and Mamas and Papas, her knowledge will help strengthen the whole team.

Sarah will be focusing on retail appointments although the team also provides solutions for leisure careers. “Retail recruitment was the obvious choice to specialise in as it gives me an opportunity to build on the experience I have gained and use the contacts I have developed over the past decade”, commented Sarah.

When asked why she chose the move from her retail job (an area sales manager) to helping people find theirs, Sarah said: “I gain an enormous sense of satisfaction helping people find their perfect retail job and so a firm specialising in retail recruitment will provide me with the challenges and rewards I was looking for. Additionally, I see recruitment as key to successful retailing because finding the right person for a role can have an impact on the performance of a store or region that goes beyond the sales figures”.

Gabby Rosenberg, Head of Leisure and Retail Recruitment at sevenhr, commented “Sarah is distinctive within the team. We have a number of experienced consultants who have brought market experience from their previous careers; retail experience of this level however will bring us further insight into an industry in which we are already considered specialists. Sarah will be a great asset”.

In addition to her working focus on finding people new careers, industry issues and helping her team, Sarah also finds time to ride horses and socialise in her native city of Leeds.
